The Fire-Proof Shifter Boot is made up of woven silica with a flexible mylar finish. The shifter boot was developed as a fire barrier for high-speed engine fires. High-speed fires can burn away rubber boots in seconds. Thermo-Tec's Fire-Proof Shifter Boot gives the driver one more level of protection.
