The difference between this mirror and the early 1969 style mirror is the adjustment knob bezel. This earlier mirror uses a smaller nut on the remote and a rectangular bezel on the door panel. The later model uses a larger chrome nut/bezel and the controler is at a 90 degree to the cable, instead of straight like the earlier version.
