These thermostat bypass hoses are best suited for use on 289 / 302 Windsor engines while the slightly longer BPH2 is better suited for 351 Windsor with the talller deck height Check out our 1/2 heater hose with a 5/8 flare PFESHH1316BK which are perfect to use on XR to XY V8
