Mr. Gasket water pumps are built using all new components, not remanufactured. New cast iron housing with a custom impeller that can increase water flow by up to 30 percent. This in turn can reduce water temps by 20 degrees. The precision bearings and spin-balanced fan mounting hub also offer the ability to sustain higher RPMs than an off the shelf rebuild.

5.437 inch hub height with 5/8 inch pilot.

Note: Does not fit 1965-1967 289 engines originally equipped with an aluminum water pump. Will fit 1965-1967 289 engines originally equipped with a cast iron water pump. Measure your hub height to verify which pump you have. Aluminum pumps had a hub height of approximately 5.16 inch.
