This is a slick patent-pending tool that makesa time consuming job easy and quick. Made of hard anodized aluminium, this socket tool slips over the crankshaft and snugs into the splines of the oil pump. To use, the oil pumpdrive gear must be removed from the crankshaft. When assembling an engine, this tool can be used with the timing cover on or off. This is for aftermarket setups only, because the OEM oil pumpdrive gear will not come off separately. Use a 3/8" adapter and a power drill to prime away happily. Sold individually.
