We start off with a heavy duty steel base with a hardened steel gate plate, a reverse lockout feature that only requires one hand to operate, and complies with NHRA/IHRA safety rules. Then add the billet aluminum shift handle with classic white shift knob, lightweight aluminum trigger and finish it off with a brushed aluminum cover with quick release pins, and you end up with one good looking bullet-proof race shifter. This model Pro Stick comes out of the box ready for action for 1962-1973 GM Powerglide transmissions with forward shift pattern, includes a 5-foot Super Duty shift cable, cable bracket, PG Pro Lever, hardware and detailed instructions for an easy installation. GM TH400, 350, 250, 200, 700R4/4L60, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80E automatic transmissions (for 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80E with PRNDL switch, use optional bracket kit #70499. Ford C4, C5, C6 and AOD (AOD will require optional kit#40496) AODE, 4R70W #40504 and E40D & 4R100 will require optional kit #40505.
