When upgrading your GM LS single bolt camshaft to an aftermarket 3 bolt camshaft and timing chain gear you must upgrade to different bolts. These heavy-duty cam retaining bolts are stronger than the OEM units. These increase the preload clamping force to ensure positive timing gear register. Their increased material strength overcomes valve train harmonics and stress. These Aeroflow camshaft cam retaining plate bolts are made from chrome moly 8740 for maximum strength and durability.
