The Aeroflow Performance Powertrax LSD center is the latest design in traction control. These differentials use a 6 pinion gear design, 3 per side with a wave washer setup for increased pre-load take up which gives better strength and less backlash to provide a quiet, automatic splitting of torque. For a smooth, dependable operation that combines limited-slip characteristics from gears contained in a machined, forged steel center housing. The Powertrax delivers progressive & variable traction releasing tension on the center to turn corners while locking up to put the power down through both wheels in a straight line. Specifically designed for the Borg Warner M80 series differentials found in Holden Commodores (VT (series 2), VX, VY, VZ V8 Engine models)
Important Information:
- It is recommended to get a differential professional to install this item to ensure correct preload.
- This PowerTrax only suits Borg Warner differentials with 28 spline axles.
- The M80 is a 3 bolt flange.
- Please check your differential before making a purchase.
- The pinion may need to be machined down to clear the new supplied center.
- Always use a 80W-90 weight petroleum based gear oil with a GL-5 (or higher) rating, friction additive/modifiers should NOT BE USED
