Renowned for its robust oiling system, the 2JZ engine has earned its reputation for reliability—and the OEM Toyota oil pump played a major role in that legacy. Unfortunately, many of the reproduction pumps available today don’t meet the same high standards as the original 1990s units.

Through extensive testing, we've found current newly manufactured OEM pumps fall short in key areas, such as housing quality and gear hardness. These issues can lead to problems like a sticking oil pressure relief valve, premature wear, or even catastrophic gear failure.
