The Aeroflow Performance offset crankshaft or camshaft keys are designed to locate the crank sprocket or cam sprocket on the nose of the crankshaft or camshaft. These offset woodruff keys are an easy way to adjust the ignition timing. In order to advance the ignition, you will have to insert the key clockwise; to retard the ignition, you will have to insert the key anti-clockwise. By using the offset keys, this enables you to increase horsepower and torque within the operating range you select.
