This aluminium weld on fitting has an internal threadof 5/8"-18 UNF to suit Autometer mechanical temperature probes. This allows the user to weld in this fitting when installing an AutoMeter Mechanical temperature gauge probes on applications that do not allowfor drill and tap method or toremove the need for an adapter.
