This bosch GM LS1 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is designed to direct fit into Gen 3 LS1 engines. This sensor is used to determine engine load on forced induction engines. This sensor is a popular upgrade intended to be used on engines producing positive manifold pressure up to 1 BAR, or roughly 14.5psi of boost. It can also be used for universal applications that also require a map sensor up to 1 BAR. Replaces 16235939/97180655.
