RTS's new SFI certified flexplates for the popular Ford Barra are designed to be a true upgrade for many street and race applications. These explosion proof, billet carbon steel flexplates have gone through SFI's thorough testing procedures to produce a flexplate that will exceed all expectations. With Ford Barra engines capable of producing over 1000 HP, we needed a solution to replace the factory thin sheet-metal flexplates, which were prone to failure due to the massive axial and torsional stresses applied through them. Elongated holes machined into the flexplate reduces the inertial forces produced by the flexplate when in motion.

Suits Ford Falcon DOHC Barra engines, BA-BF, FG AND FGX with the factory 4 speed, 5 speed and ZF 6 speed torque converters.

Note: this flexplate does not require any form of a flexplate bolt retainer. Please follow correct torque specifications from the manufacturer. Flexplate bolts loosening from vibration may be an indication of poor engine balance.
