Aeroflow Ford 9" Cut To Fit Axle Kit - 31-Spline (AF5079-1003)

The Aeroflow Performance Ford 9” cut to fit axlesare perfect for entry level users and will allow you to build your own custom width rear end easily. They are an induction heat treated forged 4140 steel construction axle with a natural finish and are SOLD AS ONE AXLE only.

Axle length is measured from the flange to the end of the splines. Drilled for 5 on 4-1/2" and 5 on 4-3/4" wheel bolt patterns using 0.610" (15.49mm) knurl diameter for wheel studs which are included.

These axles use the new style big bearing ends on it which measures 3.150" (80mm) with a 2.5" (63.50mm) offset. The hub pilot (centre of the axle flange) measures 3.055" (77.59mm). The O.D. of the axle flange measures 5.93" (150.62mm).

Axle Core hardness: HRC 24-28 and Axle Surface hardness: Above HRC 52.

The 31 spline is available in lengths of 26" (660.40mm), 29" (736.90mm), 32" (812.80mm) all with the spline length of 4" (101.60mm).

Each axle kit contains the following:

1 x Cut to Fit Axle

5 x 7/16” wheel studs

5 x 1/2” wheel studs

1 x Axle retaining plate

1 x Axle bearing kit

1 x Axle bearing collar.
